“Trza.” means “It’s necessary.” and is a part of the last name of Polish presidential hopeful, Rafał Trzaskowski, who recently managed to spark incredible energy across the nation. Polish people suffer from the political party, Law and Justice (the name is deceiving, bigly) and its leader, Jarosław Kaczyński, dictatorship. Trzaskowski entered the race just few weeks before the election and has a chance to beat the sitting president, a PiS puppet. PiS managed to sweep away check and balances in Poland to secure their power and to suppress Trzaskowski’s campaign, but the movement is rising up. And, yes, it has the Obama’s campaign vibes: people hoping for a change. The poster, although unofficial, was widely shared and liked, along with the hashtag #trza, across social media within one day.
